@domi@donotsta.re So yeah, the 2 that i randomly checked are: a PNG, _plus_ a JSON file that describes the positions and widths and so on. Makes sense for the very many coloured fonts that videogames use.

@drj@typo.social PNG might as well be replaced by any other image formatJSON can be foregone completely if you don’t use special glyphs and your code hardcodes the alphanumeric indices i don’t really like how pretentiously you speak about everything here :/ makes me feel very unwelcome in this conversation.
