@navi@social.vlhl.dev @dalias@hachyderm.io @hailey@hails.org yeah it's just not feasible to disable the netlink on a Linux system that wants any kind of better device management than mdev as a hotplug helper. You can get away with that (or no device manager at all) in embedded boxes, but on a user machine, even a very barebones one or a server like mine, you just... need the netlink. Sometimes bugs just need to be fixed.
