@clickhere@mastodon.ie @sinabhfuil@mastodon.ie I’ve been carless for about six weeks due to the my previous tiny 2010 piece of crap keeling over and it’s an utter pain in the arse in suburban Dublin.
Took me an hour and a half to do what would be a 20min round trip by car and a trip to the car dealer for a (small) EV replacement took all day. Even being close enough to the commuter train to hear station announcements on a still day only goes so far because the interconnections are still crap.

@Colman@mastodon.ie @clickhere@mastodon.ie Knowhatchamean, though - I would always prefer to bring a broken Mac to Mactivate, but it takes two buses and a Luas to get there - a four-hour round trip, counting waits for buses and Luasanna
