To fully verify it I would generally throw it in https://sightengine.com/detect-ai-generated-images It's not perfect but it's pretty good. Another thing I would do is check if it has a Google synthid mark. This is a pattern in the image that is not detectable by the human eye, but can be detected using software. .

The city labels are pointing at dots that aren't green. The caption says "40 European cities" but there are more than 40 green dots. The dots aren't all the same size and shape, why? It's incoherent, and unlikely to be something a person would do intentionally. Gen-AI outputs tend to be locally plausible, globally incoherent, and a weird mix of slick and amateur.
