@alxsim@ecoevo.social I like this idea! One of the things I liked about science Twitter was that it was essentially an always-active conference hallway track, and the fact that it didn't really start or stop meant that it didn't demand focus when I needed to do other things. So, how about running it as a seminar series with ebbs and flows in intensity according to the academic calendar?

@alxsim@ecoevo.social Short form talks could also be really fun. We could do some polls for a few standing topics, and then submit lightning talks (e.g., 4 minute max)? For example, "Show us a database/tool/method that you love but also hate," or "Walk us through the plot/figure/table/diagram/schematic that you're most proud of so far."
