I'm trying to get the @teamtype@fosstodon.org – @hedgedoc@fosstodon.org bridge into a publishable state this week, to allow you to edit HedgeDoc documents using editors like Neovim and VS Code!
I could use your help to decide which HedgeDoc versions we should support:
Could you go to the main page of your favorite HedgeDoc instance, scroll to the bottom, and check which release is linked from the "Source Code" link? 🙏

The technical background is that HedgeDoc updated their Socket.IO version from v2 to v4 in version 1.10.4 (released in December 2025). Because the bridge talks to that interface, this makes a difference. But at least one instance I'm using a lot still is on a lower version…
