@Njord@zeroes.ca I don't understand the "legal status notwithstanding" part. citizenship is a legal status. I live in Sweden but I'm not a citizen. I would not say I'm a citizen of Sweden, but I wouldn't hesitate to call myself swedish. even though I just admitted to not understanding what's being asked, I interpret this question as "which national identify do you connect to the strongest, regardless of your physical circumstances". in which case, I choose a multinational federation: the Nordic Council. because I've lived in the Nordics my entire life and my native languages are Swedish and Norwegian. and I've voted as such, I guess. however, this question needs to be multiple choice. I was born in Norway. that's a Nordic country. like, literally, legally, I've had a Nordic citizenship my whole life. this multinational federation is the one I was born in.

    @Njord@zeroes.ca also borders are fake and I dislike the concept of citizenship. but different regions of the world do have different culture. therefore, I don't think national identity is inherently bad (with a very loose definition of "nation").
