@mia @shibao I don't think the barrier to normies using irc is the ui anymore I think it's that they don't want to make choices or learn things (like what's a server, which one am I suppose to join, do I need this port option, etc). I think you can get them to download app, enter phone or email, and click a link (or scan a QR code). That's about it.
