@scathach@stereophonic.space $5k price tag for something with 3-4kw motor and an ~80mi range. Keep it light and small, DRZ size or smaller. Even if ~80mi is a lie people will buy it because it will be an amazing city bike. Several smaller manufacturers (mostly ebike companies) have attempted this and they mostly fail at the actual "making the bike" part because they don't know what they're doing. But they sell out every time.
