@tom My husband and I still answer the phone with "whasssssup" when we're in a silly mood.
My Gen Z kids occasionally watch an "oldie" and, with eyes wide, look at us and say "THAT's where that phrase comes from?" Oh yeah baby. My language in heavily sprinkled with quotes (or mis-quotes) from movies going back 45 years. Our movie quotes represent Gen Z's meme-sphere.
