@datarama@hachyderm.io As someone who's taken in rescue ferrets over the years and has seen an occasional dachshund, I'd say unusual domestic dogs can look a bit like ferrets. Ferrets, BTW, don't get nearly enough love and appreciation in the general media, much like lizards.

@Feneric@mastodon.social I love ferrets! My younger brother used to have one, and for some reason there's a ferret breeder who often brings her ferrets along for one of the reptile trade shows here. They seem like absolutely delightful animals. (I still don't think they look particularly dog-like. I think a bear's face looks *more* like a dog face than a ferret's does, for example!)
