@cloudless_sky@norden.social @scarlet@plush.city I get it. I am married to a German or at least we are waiting on Standesamt. She's disappointed in Germany as well. I have had this impact on a lot of Germans. Do times suck, yeah but that's everywhere. Restaurants in france that are older that my homeland have closed recently. I'd never fault anyone for trying to find a better life someplace else, I just don't really see someplace else that isn't equally as troubled as Germany if not more so. Merz is a problem and fuck the AfD but at least Merz receives push back in his party and from the EU. I'm not trying to convince you that Germany is somehow wonderful. My first experience with German racism was within 5 minutes of landing in Germany. More that it's an overall problem and "das leben ist kein Ponyhof"
