@SleepyCat@mk.absturztau.be To build off of this the stereotype for eastern europeans here is "filthy thieves" but the stereotype for Americans is "Uneducated Idiots" so when you can't speak German in Germany or French in France ( or whatever ) you are going to prove a xenophobes point. You are going to be called an idiot, you are going to be insulted and held in low regard but I find that's a minority. It's hard at first but it gets better over time, in my experience at least. But also be aware it's integrate or fail as Immigration holds the keys to your future.

@GoldenRetrieverGF@blahaj.zone @scarlet@plush.city @SleepyCat@mk.absturztau.be I feel like you go from a point of acceptance (home country) to a status of having to prove yourself to be worthy (immigrant). Some countries will be less accepting and some more on average, but I think if you manage to prove yourself (immigrate successfully) you've gotten rid of 90% of problems and hostility.
