@bitprophet@social.coop I use SingleFile -> LinkWarden. If I want to share with someone I can just send them the file or upload it to a temporary URL.
I don't have a use case where I want / need to share my entire personal archive. If I did, it would require login.

@mwinters@floss.social for sure, "here's my entire archive" would be very close friends or family and at that point a login is absolutely worth the friction. Thanks for the info on those tools!

@bitprophet@social.coop I should perhaps add that I had a bespoke storage / organization system built with just SingleFile that served my needs just fine. LinkWarden is entirely unnecessary. I mainly installed it as a (failed) experiment to get my wife on board, and then it was extra work to move back.
