After years of listening to heavily manufactured pop bands — whether Korean, Japanese or otherwise — with autotune everywhere, and after decades of dancing to techno made almost entirely with synthesizers and machines, isn’t it at least a little curious to suddenly draw the line at AI-generated music?

@uriel@x.keinpfusch.net I am not really suprised, no. Spotify is just as well just a greedy big tech. On YT no one in the comments detects that it is AI. The band sings a Christian gospel, and the AI-generated texts are gobbled up. Not surprising too. Most annoying personally I find it that I get recommendations for fake AI metal bands.
