@mattiem@mastodon.social I’ve started reading it but I don’t think I’m going to make it to the end (I made it to “I’m sorry, Dave” which seems like the end of the intro). It makes assumptions about the direction AI is going to take and focuses on the hypothetical problems that might come from that. It doesn’t appear to even acknowledge the actual problems it has already created. The absence of a discussion on the real harms already caused means I struggle to take it seriously.
