I've said it before, I'll say it again.
MCP is the new AMP.
And like AMP, it will soon go the way of the dodo. Even Google seems to understand this.
Efforts to add & promote MCP on websites is a colossal waste of time & resources much better spent elsewhere.

@jaredwhite@indieweb.social can you elaborate on this? I see MCP getting a lot of expansion at my work (IT - Data center technologies) on its way to becoming the new USB standard for bridging heterogeneous services for AI-related consumption tasks.
