Today i sat in a meeting with quite senior manager types wherein, after talking about quite useful stuff for an hour and making some relevant proposals, they, instead of making actual decisions reflecting their opinions, let an llm generate a slide deck summary of their meeting that did not reflect what was said by anybody and wasn’t even in the slightest about the subject at hand. It all felt very absurd and postmodern and quite like a stage play or some kind of performance art. If a management team meets in the woods and there’s nobody to hear it kinda vibes. What was this meeting about? By the end I really couldn’t tell anymore. I think I still can’t.
