    Unless hugging face sues OpenAI , or some convincingly detailed post mortem is published by them, I stand by my initial gut feeling that they are both in on it and nothing happened.

Fun is fun, which is a success in itself, and it honestly seems like a decently productive means of protest, this carnivalesque Happening.

    @SecurityWriter the depressing reality so far is that such protests do not seem to work once the state has been entirely disconnected from democratic feedback loops. Also see Georgia.

    Today i sat in a meeting with quite senior manager types wherein, after talking about quite useful stuff for an hour and making some relevant proposals, they, instead of making actual decisions reflecting their opinions, let an llm generate a slide deck summary of their meeting that did not reflect what was said by anybody and wasn’t even in the slightest about the subject at hand.
