@anubis2814 Covid spreads year round. It is estimated that 400 Million people are dealing with Long Covid in some form. People are getting (re)infected with Covid in the present tense. People are developing Long Covid in the present tense. Asymptomatic infection is a thing. You have no idea who is infected and who is vulnerable at any given moment. Consider updating your risk analysis.

@thatkatharine@ohai.social This account @/anubis2814@/friendica.myportal.social ought to be REPORTED, for blatant COVID-19 misinformation ("Long covid is no longer very common") from an account claiming to be a "microbiologist". Someone asserting expertise while getting such basic facts wrong is unlikely to be communicating in good faith.
