@jake2@kolektiva.social yeah like we should definitely try to ensure that there are no new mein kampfs through aggressive deplatforming but if it's already a historic document then it should be available

@julieofthespirits@kolektiva.social I'm not sure that deplatforming and archiving need necessarily be at odds. I think there's probably ways in which it's important to be archiving even current fascist texts, it's still important to know your enemy. They can get away with a lot of sneaky things if we don't record what they've said. But then an archive isn't the same thing as a platform I suppose. Usually one goes to an archive because they're already trying to find something, but a platform actively spreads it to new audiences. I guess that's an important difference
