@ipsquiggle@sunny.garden apparently it got a bit of currency among IT types. But (like many of the books mentioned) it's really enjoyable in the way the author looks just a little bit more, and thinks a bit harder, about stuff we see around us everyday. Our copy is printed on very thin paper so it might not be available in libraries....

@julie@eigenmagic.net Yeah, there was a pretty influential programming textbook called Design Patterns that was apparently based on it, that's how I originally heard about A Pattern Language. I'm always so in awe of people who can look at the world like that. It's a skill I admire so much! In any case, you reminded me to check the library again since moving cities, and I now have a hold on it, thank you 😂
