I'm looking to learn a bit of university-level biology, biochemistry and ecology. Curious to know if anyone has recommendations for textbooks, online courses, whatever else. I don't really know where to start, I mostly studied math, physics, and CS 😄 Boosts are welcome!

@xavier@sunny.garden I'm not very deep into that, but for a start I can recommend Siddhartha Mukherjee's "The Gene: An Intimate History", which is a very good overview of the history of genetics. Also Robert Sapolsky has some fascinating lectures about biology to be found online.
