My trusty #thinkpad x280 is perfectly fine for nearly everything i do. Except working on 30MB RAW files in #darktable. This is just totally beyond its capabilities. It works fine, nothing crashes, but everything is slooooow. Yes, i even made sure OpenCL support is enabled. But the puny "GPU" in there doesn't make a lot of difference. Now i wonder how much of an upgrade i'd need to have a semi-fluid darktable experience.
