@lymenzies@fosstodon.org I quite like MATE. I have memories of Ubuntu in 2008ish and it was good, then they went Gnome 3 and I was like WTH! And dropped it. Much later found out about MATE being a Gnome 2 derivative. These days I am very much a KDE person but MATE is probably my second fave DE.
