Today's "dealing with sick cat" observation: it's a PITA to pill a 20 lb cat--antibiotics taste noxious. But it turns out it's even more of a PITA to dose a cat with a liquid antibiotic so "irritating" it dissolves the numbers off the oral syringes. So we're back to pills. I'd rather wrestle a pill down my furbaby's throat and follow that with a syringe of nice, tasty water than watch him gag stinky, noxious oil all over his chin for half an hour after every dose.
