Amazon has been adding layers upon layers of encryption and enshittification on its ebooks starting in 2023 and getting even worse this year.

@kmherkes@wandering.shop yeesh; looked it up & apparently the DRM removal loopholes got closed February 2026. No more point-&-click solutions anymore it seems.
