Fedi is rehabbing me in ways that I never expected: I'm no longer stressed out when my posts get reposted a lot. I still think anything that are semi private (not this account, don't worry) shouldn't be reposted without explicit permission, but it's more a learnt stress response to Hellscape Sites where every random 420CuckTitsCharizard69 felt they are entitled to you. And I'd say post 2012 Hellscape Sites are the default.

@BigShellEvent@toot.cat Things can definitely still get out of hand here but it’s way better than basically anything else AFAICT. Every time I even dip my toe into other social media, I regret it almost immediately.
