@altomare@oldbytes.space - I got one that the previous owner had no interest in keeping when we moved to our current place.
Singer, plenty old, with foot rocker and leather belt.
Where's a good place to start looking for the "well documented"?

@axel_hartmann@digitalcourage.social Sure! The first thing to do is to identify the model from the serial number. There are tools online, I used the one on ISMACS (look up "singer serial database"). Then you can find the user and service manual with where to lubricate it. I found mine on archive.org. I had some issues with threading, and I found multiple videos and forum posts about this.
