@alex_p_roe@mastodon.world Don’t get me wrong, I think it s is a very good thing for politicians to be erudite it does lift the level of political debate in and out of Parliament. Of course, not all politicians in France are énarques and, politics being what it is, those occupying the higher educational ground are often dragged down and forced to debate with some absolute idiots both on the extreme left and extreme right in Parliament. Elsewhere it remains polite. Alas power corrupts even the erudite.
