@amt@hachyderm.io @yosh@toot.yosh.is at least in the US dishwashers are almost always directly next to the sink because they’re hooked up to the same hot water and drain lines

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io @yosh@toot.yosh.is Yeah, I was so used to the American way of having the dishwasher directly below or adjacent to the sink. In Europe, it looks like people prefer to have the dishwasher mounted at a height that allows loading and unloading without bending. Unfortunately I am not a fan of that due to the mess made while carrying the dirty dishes from the sink to the dishwasher.
