@tessaracht@kitty.town Valid, I was strictly talking about my own tastes and reactions! Also if the technological/magical means for eternal life should ever materialize, opinions like mine will literally die out with us and leave yours as the unanimous opinion anyway xD

@ljwrites@writeout.ink hahahaha yeah well we're pretty far out from that happening in my lifetime, unfortunately for me. but also, I can't imagine people will stop procreating, it may just be on a totally different timeframe, so I expect there will forever be this division in opinions. it's another thing I've seen good exploration of in fiction, characters who chased immortality and then after living it for a few centuries / millenium drastically changed their minds. all very fascinating!
