I’ve been pondering on stuff to write that I need to write down. Today’s subject is #shenmue. For decades I’ve read how this game revolutionized video gaming sandboxes. And I agree. But there’s something else under the surface that isn’t all that discussed Ryo goes through a very traumatic event. And immediately after, the game gets you to experience something that many of us lack in person: a sense of community.
