@jackwilliambell yep, the idea has traction in social media so I believe the algorithms are driving it now. Sometimes I will check in on r/ufo and it can get wild. People or maybe bots driving any blurry video to absurd conclusions. At least if I relate stupid stuff from r/ufo to a coworker it does not potentially lead to a visit with HR. Can't say the same for r/politics.
