Age/ID verification online feels like ID verification for going outside except less safe. I can't get murdered online, I can't get assaulted online, I can't get kidnapped online, I CAN get robbed online but it is comparatively safe and easy to avoid, why the fuck are online spaces treated like deadly hazards when compared to going outside it's a cozy safe space even at the very worst of cases. I swear that reasoning is 100% gonna be used to argue for chipping people later.
