@Umbreon@donphan.social To my knowledge, atheism is the belief that there absolutely is no god, and agnosticism is the belief that it's impossible to know whether or not there is a god.
My belief is more like "I could literally shake hands with god and it wouldn't teach me physics".
There's more to learn about our universe by examining it than there is from the existence of a god. In fact using the existence of a god to answer a question often prevents any deeper understanding of it.

@Umbreon@donphan.social I thought about relating that viewpoint to atheism or agnosticism but I felt like it's distinct enough to be it's own thing. It treats the existence of god more as a question of scope and context than a question of yes or no. The idea is that for a lot of questions (almost all of them actually), the existence of a godlike being simply isn't applicable to find the answer with. You can find AN answer, but it won't be one that brings you closer to true understanding.
