Now I want to know the market and specific use case of impact printers!
Not having had the need I've never looked into tractor feed paper or imagewriter ribbons.

@shiawase@mastodon.social @kalleboo@bitbang.social One place where impact printers are difficult to replace is when you need cabon copy prints. You know, those stacked multi-layer prints you can rip apart and then you have guaranteed multiple copies from the one single print. The tractor feed is used to continuously align the sheets.
