But for the first two points, I think it is actually not super far. 6.2 was a major leap. Better compiler diagnostics are a huge component of this, in my opinion.

@bok@mastodon.social one of my own focus areas is reducing the number of keywords/attributes that people are exposed to. I think just seeing them, even if you do not actually need to use/care about them, is a major problem.

@mattiem@mastodon.social @bok@mastodon.social I think Concurrency as a whole has come really far in terms of understandability. One part that still has some rough edges though is region based isolation. Especially the topic with call once closures (or the lack of) but also compiler error messages related to RBI. I sometimes have to shuffle variables around just to understand which property is causing the error (eg. captured in sending closures)
