@TrVr@mastodon.green thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm aware of that... but lowering 7 to 5 kW peak is difficult when everything is electric and there are two electric cars to charge. I'm in a luxury situation and I know I shouldn't complain since I can pay these taxes without a problem. My frustration is that the current system does not stimulate people to go full electric and to consume high amounts of electricity when prices go negative.

@random_sapiens@mastodon-belgium.be same here everything electric. Automating the usage with Home assistance cars can charge slower during certain hours. And heat pump is running more constantly at a slower pace to avoid peaks. Last month we had a blast cooking and consuming elec during the negative price hours. While keeping the peak below 4kW. It would be better if the peak is not recording when the hours are negative. But we make do with the current rules
