@random_sapiens@mastodon-belgium.be same here everything electric. Automating the usage with Home assistance cars can charge slower during certain hours. And heat pump is running more constantly at a slower pace to avoid peaks. Last month we had a blast cooking and consuming elec during the negative price hours. While keeping the peak below 4kW. It would be better if the peak is not recording when the hours are negative. But we make do with the current rules

@TrVr@mastodon.green will look into my automation settings and give that a try. I heard from a good source (connected to politicians) that they are considering to stop charging for peaks during negative hours... but in Belgian politics even if everyone agrees that will still take time. Thanks!
