@random_sapiens@mastodon-belgium.be you should try and work on reducing your monthly peak. That is where the most taxes are. I've been doing this myself and reduces the total amount we pay a lot. While not having to save extra energy.

@TrVr@mastodon.green thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm aware of that... but lowering 7 to 5 kW peak is difficult when everything is electric and there are two electric cars to charge. I'm in a luxury situation and I know I shouldn't complain since I can pay these taxes without a problem. My frustration is that the current system does not stimulate people to go full electric and to consume high amounts of electricity when prices go negative.
