Other day, after gym, wife asked if we could stop by the Whole Foods nearest our house. The route there takes us part a Wegmans. As we're cresting the hill that ends in the intersection that, if you go straight you get to the Wegmans and if you turn right you go to the Whole Foods, I had a quick doubt: "did you say Wegmans or Whole Foods?" Wife was incredulous: "they don't even sound similar." I replied, "they both begin with 'W' and my brain works visually." That they're both grocery stores along the same route means my visual brain just further conflates them.
