Doh. Keep leaving the Dynax 40 switched on as it doesn't have the normal lock/on slider. It has the off on the program dial instead. Been left on for weeks yet again. So annoying. All my other dynax SLRs have the slider which is harder to catch accidentally. Only picked it up to put the 20mm wide angle on it as that has previously been on the 505si. It was being fussy about focus so thought I'd try another body. Lucky it takes CR2 batteries which I have the most of not one of the weirdos!
