@ner@fwoof.space Sadly, this is not unique or unusual. I am sorry you experienced it though. I have been volunteering and working in animal rescue for about the last 25 years and I encounter this problem a lot. It is frustrating and is largely why I have stepped back from doing a lot of this work because the ableism is exhausting.
