@floscholz@front-end.social There's definitely room for improvement, but OTs are ultimately an implementor thing, it's not part of the standardization process. W3C, for example, does not mandate it as far as I know. The Blink launch process does (and even there, it's optional).
Not all vendors do it too. Chrome are Edge are likely the most active. I think Firefox does them too, but less often I think (https://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=Origin_Trials&action=history). Not sure about Safari, or other browsers.

@patrickbrosset@mas.to The feedback various implementors are collecting seems quite opaque to me. Any signal coming out of it doesn't seem all that traceable and so people trust it less. I guess https://github.com/web-platform-dx/developer-signals is the more open approach to this? Maybe OT participants could give some of their feedback there? (This would of course require a web-feature ID for OT features, though).
