@Gargron@mastodon.social Imagine buying something from a local store instead of amazon was called "sideshopping" and there's a massive campaign to delegitimize buying items from stores not approved by amazon. Completely absurd. Why accept that exact ideology when it comes to installing software on your phone?

@Gargron@mastodon.social @StaticR@guild.pmdcollab.org perhaps because the little local store also sells nuclear weapons, gives free drug samples to kids, has a ready supply of DIY biological warfare kits, tracks your wife 24/7 without her knowledge, and has borrowed your banking credentials. Apart from that, they do have some other cool things though.
