MMMMMMMMMMMM… Microgramma is a squarish sans conceived to remain legible at very small sizes – hence the name. It was drawn by Alessandro Butti (1893–1959), director of Nebiolo’s Studio Artistico, and first cast in 1952, in five all-caps styles. Aldo Novarese – first Butti’s assistant and then his successor – subsequently reworked the design into Eurostile (1962), adding lowercase characters.
Over the weekend, we added three Uses of Microgramma. @drj’s Bug-Byte contribution pushed it over the mark: this classic is now a member of Club 💯!
