I know it's a hot take, but maybe we don't shame the devs who are being told they can keep food on their table and roofs over their heads only by using AI to obsolete their own coworkers. If you want people to make better choices, do something to help give them better options. Hint: that something should address their precarity and insecurity directly. I have yet to meet a single dev who wants to shank their own coworkers. Please stop treating them like they do.
