CW: SA! Urgent message for survivors! I'm not going to put this behind a spoiler thingy, because it's information that is urgently needed by survivors, and anyone else who is affected emotionally by scenes of SA in reportage. Current news out of Israel, based on big reporting by NYT, is absolutely FULL of graphic descriptions of various forms of SA, truly horrific stuff. Massive crimes against humanity. I experienced it. Reading this. You don't have to. You can believe the victims' having said so, and not re-traumatise yourself by reading what happened unprepared. They are survivors, just like us. You don't have to experience their trauma to believe them, and support them, and call for justice.
