@atpfm@mastodon.social A lot of talk in this and prev ep about people wanting all the good but just don't want to pay for it. I'm sure there's plenty of them, but I think there are others who understands compromises but just can't afford $2000+ computer. So they're not ungrateful, or ignorant.
My first own Mac was an LC475 and that was all I could afford, and I understood the compromises but it was this or no Mac at all. John said the LC was bad, but honestly this was quite good. It even had 256 COLORS! 🌈😍

@aetles@mastodon.social IMO, the LC was a larger percent worse than its price was percent lower than the better Macs. So, not a great deal. (But, yes, better than no Mac at all.)
